Alternative/Contingent Employment Situations
Programs that provide or assist people in obtaining work arrangements that are alternatives to traditional permanent, full-time jobs. Included are positions that involve part time work, contract work, temporary work, day labour, on-call work or jobs that are not expected to last longer than one year.
Employment Abroad
Programs that provide assistance for people who want to apply for work in another country. Included are programs that maintain lists of employment opportunities abroad and those that actively assist people to secure positions.
Summer Employment
Programs that provide or assist people, usually students, to obtain employment opportunities that require their availability during the summer months only.
